About Nurturing Faith PH
Our Story
Nurturing Faith began as a response to an unexpected global challenge—the pandemic. In a time of isolation, when physical gatherings were limited, we found solace and connection through social media. It was on Facebook that Nurturing Faith was born, creating a virtual community where young mothers could come together, share their experiences, and support each other in their journey of raising children in the Catholic faith.
What started as a simple online group quickly evolved into something more significant. Recognizing the need for a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith among young moms, Nurturing Faith expanded its mission to form these women in their faith, empowering them to infuse their homes with a strong Catholic upbringing. Our goal has always been to help mothers transmit the richness of the faith to their children in a natural and joyful way, despite the challenges of modern life.
What We've Accomplished
Since its inception, Nurturing Faith has organized various initiatives to support and educate young Catholic mothers. We’ve hosted numerous webinars and workshops, including our popular "Credo" mentoring sessions led by Family Life Educator Joy Schallenberg. These sessions offer a safe space for moms to ask questions, gain clarity on Catholic doctrine, and set actionable goals to strengthen their spiritual lives and family practices.
Our "Fill My Cup" series has also been a cornerstone of our offerings, providing Lenten talks, recollections, and spiritual reflections tailored to the needs of both moms and their children. These events have helped many families grow in their faith together, creating opportunities for shared learning and spiritual development.
Additionally, Nurturing Faith has facilitated family-friendly activities, such as our Family Day at Sta. Elena Fun Farm, which allowed families to connect and enjoy quality time together in a faith-filled environment. Through these events, we have discovered that young moms are eager to share their experiences, teach their children about the faith, and participate in community-building activities that enrich both their lives and the lives of their families.
Mission & Vision
At Nurturing Faith, our mission is clear: we are dedicated to forming young mothers in the Catholic faith, empowering them to create homes centered on Christ. We strive to provide the tools and resources necessary for spiritual growth, fostering a supportive community of faith-filled women who are committed to raising their children in the light of the Gospel.
Our vision is to become a hub of resources and support for young Catholic moms, helping them build faith-centered homes where their children can thrive spiritually. We aim to develop sustainable mentorship programs, enhance our live and asynchronous learning platforms, and expand our multimedia outreach to reach even more mothers who seek to deepen their faith and share it with their families.
